BIOGRAPHY

Eclectic, positive, and timeless are the defining features to my music. No matter if I am composing for the orchestra, writing original songs, or arranging for big band, I want to capture my audience's imagination in wonder.

Growing up in Seattle, I played music since the age of nine. I first started on saxophone and quickly picked up piano, guitar, and singing. I have performed in countless ensembles, even playing in a Zimbabwean marimba ensemble!

Throughout my early twenties, I performed and wrote music as part of Drum Corps International, going as far as performing the 1812 Overture with the Boston Pops in Tanglewood. As of April 2020, I has been on the music team for over fifty marching band shows in over a dozen states.

In 2016, I shifted his focus to film scoring and have scored over twenty media projects including films, video games, and commercials. My music has been heard at the Cannes Film Festival, Los Angeles CineFest, and most recently at the Prisma Independent Film Awards in Italy. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music Composition in 2019, and in May 2021, I will finish my Masters of Fine Art in Music Composition for the Screen at Columbia College Chicago.

My unbridled optimism and love of people fuels my creativity. I constantly seek unpaved paths, new ways to approach old ideas, and meaningful collaborations with those who challenge me!
